The purpose of the TransAtlantic collection is to host under its generous umbrella scholarly studies, essays, volumes of comparative analysis and also textbooks or course and seminar materials, which argumentatively cover both European and North American cultural-literary spaces, thus pointing out their inner dynamics, progression and complex interrelationships. At the same time, the collection aims to disseminate the latest philological researches on authors, trends, concepts specific to both the European and the North American landscapes, consequently providing new coordinates of multiple cultural inter-connections.

The titles are accepted into the collection with the coordinator\’s approval, subsequently the authors/ volume coordinators / editors must present the Oradea University Press with the signed approval form from the collection’s coordinator and with positive reference letters from two experts in the strict field of the publication. An annual periodicity of publication is intended, but continuity and the conceptual coherence of the collection take priority.
