Chemistry, mathematics and the other disciplines addressed in this paper are taught separately during the years of study, but their use together is necessary. The proposed material exemplifies the work that needs to be implemented to obtain useful results in a language that is easy to understand for students of these disciplines. The history of batteries and polynomials used in chemistry is important for understanding the connections between the fields. Examples of detailed calculation of 19 polynomials for chemical structures and the recall of 5 others follow. The characteristic polynomial, the most used in chemistry, is extended to apply it in molecular superposition. Finally, useful scores are obtained for discovering similarities and a prediction of these results is made. It is desirable that Romania offers as much talent as possible in battery optimization, and in this sense, readers are invited to take forward this information, hitherto unavailable in Romanian.
